I was talking with my friend who is an engineer for the Water District here in CA. He said all we have to do is have a copper lining or copper pipes on our intake systems and pluming, the Quaga Mussels will pass through it and not stick. He said copper is poison to them and they wont mess with is. Maybe TIGE can make copper cooling systems I don't think it is completely possible or cost effective.
