All this talk about cold weather is making me depressed........
Good thing it's 83° right now in So Cal.

Sorry

You must not have had a boat when you lived here, some of the sand bars and islands get crazy parties going that are on the lines of a havasu girls gone wild weekend. Like I said a while ago, give me a shout if you head back down and I'll take you for a spin.Originally posted by my86stanggt View PostLived in Largo on Rosery Rd. Loved it there. I miss the thong beaches there at the end of the bridges where they were allowed.

No more talking about Havasu!!!! I want to be there right now!!! They have the pyrotechnique convention going on this weekend and a 1 hour show tomorrow night. Plus I have a river itch like no ones business. Kinda like a bad rash.Originally posted by mtnsmith View PostYou must not have had a boat when you lived here, some of the sand bars and islands get crazy parties going that are on the lines of a havasu girls gone wild weekend. Well, yeah...if you're IN SF proper...I'm in the East Bay, and we typically swelter while SF shivers. Weather-guessers call it 'micro-climates'. SF can be 68 degrees and we're 102. Heck...anything over 75 and the boat's on the water!Originally posted by Coach View PostCome on Mike you know to enjoy it now because the cold weather is coming. Whoooa you didn't say east bay to start. I have almost gotten stuck on the east side a few times when over drinking with buddies on the East side and almost missed the BART back to SF. I use to have a buddy who lived on Lombard just below the Coit Tower. Great flat with a sweet view of the Golden gate and Alcatraz. We use to leave the city and mountain bike to Tam and back all the time. Plus China Camp had some sweet riding as well. I have not been up to the SF area for about 5 years now. A few kids really puts the clamps on traveling up north now.Originally posted by hoopykat View PostWell, yeah...if you're IN SF proper...I'm in the East Bay, and we typically swelter while SF shivers.
