We beg people to move to Cali....relocation, hell we'll throw in 25k to sweetin the deal and you know what.....I still have to fly down to Sac/SF/LA b/c no one and I mean no one from Louisana or Missouri or anywhere else (except HI, NY and a few others) can afford to live in ANY part of California

my job moved me out here. they do for everyone they hire. What's your degree in spharis? we have TONS of openings out here, no one want's to move out here, and there a openings in the SLO area to. I can send you our job link if your really interested.

I really hate CA, but the job is so worth it. Lots of experience. CA on the other hand sticks it to you for everything they can get, it's freaking ridiculous. Just trying to get my cars registered took me four hours yesterday, and not one is regsitered, and they are trying to charge me an extra 6K for my vette. Never would have bought it if I had known I was moving.

housing market is going great here in bako so you can get some gret houses for cheap, and if you have extra money you can pick up foreclousres on pennys on the dollar. Now the rest of cali i'm not so sure on...

25k is about what they paid me to move me here, probably a bit more then that, and it still didn't really cover everything. Moving is expensive. Are you giving them moving plus 25k?

Thanks for the info tigeduner. When I do start looking it will probably be for a new one that is just how I want it/ordered from the factory, but who knows. Kind of depends on work. Typically in a few years I'll be shipped overseas, least if I can get my way, so would wait till I come back. Time will tell.

Moving plus 25k. Bay Area 95k bonus, not ONE SINGLE TAKER...hahaha Tells your how frickin expensive it is to live there when 95k gets no one

Dom, if you are looking at a 24V, get a 2004 or newer as they are 2" wider, 6" longer, and about 1,000 lbs. heavier than the 23V. Also has a different hull design. Good luck on your persuit.

Didn't you have a 23V? If yes, what do you like and don't like with the new 24V. One thing that I like about my 2300 V is the heftier tow bar and the discontinued "passenger bucket seat".

I would never move to Cali. That place is insane. The state seems to bend it's residents over every chance they get. I like to visit now and again, but I'm always so happy to get back to Nevada.

oh they do all right!! I have to get my pick up weight certified, who weight certifies there pick ups, and bases your tax on that? What a bunch of crap!! Not to mention trying to make me pay even more sales tax on my car, hell if I would have known I was moving to ca, I wouldn't have bought the car(i'm fighting that one!)
