Try this dehumidifier if you're worried about moisture. Its rechargeable and no mess. I have 4 and they're awesome.Originally posted by Matt Garcia View PostThe water collects right in front of the drive shaft so moving the front wheel up and down will not move the water out of the bilge.
Its not a big problem but I am anal and don't like anything foreign in there, whether it be water or dirt.
Anyway, those are some good ideas, thanks.
Or, if you're bent on a shop vac, try the rechargeable model.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

dogbert, I am definitely buying one of those dehumidifiers, especially for the V drive compartments. I always manage to spill water from my fat sac pumps.Originally posted by dogbert View PostTry this dehumidifier if you're worried about moisture. Its rechargeable and no mess. Do you think that is safe to put near the engine?

Absolutely! There's no electricity or anything. You plug it in to an outlet when you want to dry it out.Originally posted by Matt Garcia View Postdogbert, I am definitely buying one of those dehumidifiers, especially for the V drive compartments.
