    Cover and Boat Lift Recommendations for 2005 Tige 21i

    I just purchased a lake condo with a dock slip. Because I have always trailered my boat, I would greatly appreciate any input getting a good cover and lift. My current cover is in very poor shape, which I haven't needed to deal with since I have stored my boat in a garage. Any help would be amazing!

    Lake? Constant level or floating? We use HydroHoist lifts for ours, and we use a Poly Lift in my dads boat. Both work just fine. Hunt on Craig’s list and find a good used one. You probably can go walk around on your condo dock and see whAt everyone else is using. That’s a good indicator of who the dealer is on the lake. Plan to pay a dollar a pound or so new. You can get them 30 to 50 percent cheaper used if you are patient (at least here!). Factor in a thousand bucks or so (high side) for install if it has to be towed across the lake.

    For covers, I replaced my 2007 with a Westland cover from boat covers direct. It fits like a glove and was a great price for a sunbrella cover.

        Here are a couple of other vendors for replacing your boat cover;

        https://commercialsewing.com/mooring-covers/ - You will need to contact your dealer to purchase these covers, and a disclaimer - they are not cheap, but they are VERY well made. I believe Tige is using this vendor on all of their new boats.

        https://greatlakesboattop.com/ - You can go direct with Great Lakes Boat Top. They make covers and biminis for Tiges (and many other brands).

        In my opinion, boat covers are just like most other purchases... you get what you pay for. If I needed a cover to be durable and trailered the boat with it on, I would spend more. If I was just covering it before I placed it in my garage/storage, I would spend less. Just my 2 cents.
