Hole in bag......repair hole?

Popped a hole in the top of my 1200 lbs bag. Forgot to turn the fill pump off and the bolt head from the closing mechanism popped a hole in the top of the bag. Any thoughts on what would seal it up (long term)? Any one use the Flex tape before or are their other tapes that'll hold? Good news is its the top, so no real pressure so I'm thinking the bag isn't toast.

I'd look in to a patch kit for an inflatable boat (Zodiac). Chpthril may have some other ideas for you however.

Yep, tube or raft patch kit should work. Id put a rubber cap over the bolt moving forward as well.
