Finally! A shaper that works on my 08 Z1

Due the the ridge line and curved surface on the hull of the 08-12 model Z1s I could never find a suck gate / wake shaper that would stick and work. Thanks to Jesse at Riverside Marine in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada I was able to try a number of the latest devices on my boat. Happy to report the new Mission Echo sticks perfectly to the curved surface and does an amazing job of cleaning up an shaping the wake.

Correct me if I am wrong, BUT Liquid Force sells cups that work with curved hulls.

" The suction cups can handle 1/4" of curvature over a 5" distance. If the attachment area on your hull has more curvature than that, then you will need to purchase our Curvature Adapter Rings and install them onto your Wakesurf Edge Shaper."

Finally got around to taking pics - better yet video. Here is proof. And remember this is the first suction cup style shaper that would stick to the curved portion of hull near the bottom of the side of the 08-12 Z1`s.
