If you do some googling you will find Nautiques promo video for that boat. They built it a couple years ago. IIRC the run time on a full charge was VERY short even with a large bank. I think unless Supercharger tech makes it way dockside its a far away dream, though a cool dream to have nonetheless. One things for sure if it happens. Your mechanics are going to end up electricians. You thought service was expensive before......every Journeyman sparky I know makes more than I do.

LOL, tesla has not had a profitable year yet, so they are running on tax dollar supplements, not battery power.

I would love to have a diesel or electric tow boat. But I don’t think it’s happening anytime soon.

freeheel, other reason is availability of fuel. try to buy diesel at spring shores. it's pretty widespread around the midwest and east but smaller lakes out west would be problematic.

Great point. I never buy marina fuel at Spring Shores or Mile High. Overpriced corn laden fuel isn't acceptable.

spring shores is 89 ethanol free. or at least it was for the 8 years I was up there. haven't been since '12 so might be different.
