Hit 120 hours this weekend.. it was an awesome weekend on Rollins Lake in California. Burned somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 gallons of fuel, and rode until 10pm with some newly made friends, taking turns on our boat and their Axis, trying out each other’s waves and boards, the last couple of nights. Good times!!! Happy Labor Day, to everyone on here!! Hope everyone stayed safe this weekend!!

So I dont really get to post as I am just a boat whore that takes about whatever I can get my hands on or make friends and ride on their boat(since the thread title is "their boat"). Nature of a boat mechanic that likes the water I guess.

Quick backstory, this young guy is French college student here doing an internship who we made friends with and took surfing last weekend(natural athlete that surfed wireless first day). He literally ALWAYS wears American flag garb and just genuinely loves this country. He was determined to surf with the flag, so for those that adjere to strict flag etiquette please forgive us. We did have a Navy vet on the boat and he let it slide. All in all just fun.

Heres some pics of jetboating on the Salmon as well. Slowly becoming my new favorite way to boat.

Let me know if you’re going to be around Utah in late July-August. I’ll meet you there and give you a surfing tour of the lake! It’s huge!

This is our fourth season on the water and for the first time ever my wife, Mary, got in the water on Monday. She's always been really scared of the water. So this was a huge deal for us! She told me she was going to get in as we were driving to the lake. I figured she would just swim around with us. No. She got in and went straight to the surfboard! She did great. I guess after 4 years of listening to my instruction to others it just kind of sank in. She started off right away with great form. She was getting on top of the board and just about standing up. All in all it was a great first day in the water for her. She got out happy and smiling.

This is the only picture that she would let me post. Don't worry. She's in there....somewhere.

I meant next year... we head for Powell in September. The Gorge is great as long as you let it warm up a little [emoji6]

                          Was a great year.

My 6 year old graduated from kneeboarding on a surfboard to getting up on a wakeboard. It was only once and didn't last very long before he caught a front edge but I was super proud. My wife and I also got to take turns kneeboarding with our son which was another great moment.

Wifey is getting her slash on surfing.

I finally got a few more 360's under my belt by not crouching down so much and over rotating.

At 75 hours for the year. Hopefully get out a couple more times if the weather cooperates.
-Also rolled 600 hours this summer. Bought the boat 4 years ago with 216 and currently at 609. I've officially made my boat worthless in the eyes of the general public (eye roll).

second pic was last Thursday. We get the lake back to ourselves in September.

Last Pic was while on holidays. Nicola Lake BC. Just under 12 miles long and you rarely see more than 10 boats on the lake at one time....even if it's a holiday weekend.
