I have a 2017 rzx2 with the 440 2:1 Transmission. I bought this out west and think it was reproped for elevation. It currently has a 2907 on it. Anyone know what they were shipped with from the factory or any suggestions for Kentucky Tennessee area and sizing

Lee is usually right on, we are out west and up getting up there so our are pretty flat pitch. Just a friendly reminder while shopping props for your setup, you have a 1 1/4" shaft compared to most people 1 1/8" shaft.Originally posted by jrj701 View PostI have a 2017 rzx2 with the 440 2:1 Transmission. As far as I know all 2:1 ratios are running larger shaft to handle the increased torque. We haven't sold a single RZX2 though. Maybe its only 1 1/4" in the RZX3 with a 2:1 and RZX2 with 2:1 still gets an 1 1/8". Would seem odd to me though as then they would be getting different couplers at the Vdrive. Sure seems like a headache to keep inventory straight if that was the case. Are you a 2:1??
The 3077 that Lee mentioned is for an 1 1/4" as wellLast edited by freeheel4life; 05-14-2018, 06:40 PM.

The first run of boats that were 2:1 came with a 16 inch prop until we ran them for extended time with 17's and got the numbers right. The prop Lee mentioned should now be standard however, the acme 2805 which is a 17/17 should run great even at decent elevation with the 400 let alone the 440.Originally posted by jrj701 View PostI have a 2017 rzx2 with the 440 2:1 Transmission. Many reputable online prop shops will let you test out props and send it back as long as you don't damage it. I know if you buy straight from ACME they will let you do that. If you aren't sure, make sure to buy from one of those spots.
You should also consider forging a dealer relationship, you will probably need them some day. They might have an idea for you on the correct prop in your area. Since you didn't buy from them, you may not get the best service when you need them most unless you have cultivated some relationship.Be excellent to one another.
