I'll have to see if I can program those frequencies in ours. we use the following for dessert racing, snowmobiling coms, snow skiing, boating, hiking....etc... fully programmable with the software you can find for free. they have awesome range and are cheap enough they can get lost or broken and not worry about them

I'll repost it when I get to my desk, the mobile version isn't working right. you can search "Baofeng radio" on amazon they're 25bucks. There's an 8watt for 40ish but we've always stuck with the 5watts.

However they are considered an FM band radio but yes essentially a mini HAMM. How it was described to me was because they are under a certain wattage and if you only use certain open public channels you don't need a license....that's the "correct" answer. Now in reality every one uses them in most form of racing from desert to nascar(they make great scanners at the races) also you can get local law enforcement and fire. We've been using them for years and never had an issue with licensing.

They’re programmable VHF radios, not HAMM. We use them in the desert when we ride too.

Will you be bringing a crock pot (as requested in previous posts)? Yes

When will you be arriving? Saturday Morning
Im not going to make it. Had some issues over Labor Day and grounded my boat on an unmarked reef. It was so stuck that we couldn't pull it out and had to leave it at the lake. The boat had some vandalism and stereo system stolen when I retrieved it 3 days later. I dropped it off at Germaine Marine, but its gonna be a several weeks before its fixed.

Major bummer. Sorry people are the worst. Sounds like youve met your deductible at least. Hope you get a chance to get it out again sooner than later, but runagrounds take time, especially if it need glass/gelcoat.

Dave, will you be posting up a sign up sheet of what items and quantities are needed, so assignments can be made? ie, looks like most people have a crockpot available, but we probably don't need 20 of them, but we might need every bit of 20 extension cords.
                    Thanks.

Josh, Thank you so much for asking! I truly appreciate it. I have been keeping a spreadsheet, and as of right now we will need crockpots from everyone who said they can bring one (were trying to cook almost everything in crockpots to maximize everyone’s time on the water) and like you said, we will need every extension cord available.

                          *Germaine Marine*

As you can imagine, we are beyond excited to sponsor the event again this year. We feel like we are going to have so many neat families (new and old) with Tige's this year, as well as new owners who are coming just to support the event. Germaine Marine has been working hard the past year to strengthen both Utah as well as Arizona. On top of that, our expansion into California has also been a huge focus. From reworking our service management and sales staff to trying to be involved as much as possible with Tige in regard to pricing on newer boats; our main focuses involve making the end user (you all) happier. While we will make our share of mistakes, we will continue to be aggressive with pricing to help you all get into some of the neatest new machines around as well as find ways to further streamline service which results in faster turn arounds, ultra competitive pricing and more water time.

This year we will be bringing out 2 of the newest models Tige has to offer. The ZX1 and ZX5. We are thrilled to show you guys why 19 is going to be so ballistic including a sneak at a new model that will be coming your way. We will also be bringing an 18 R23 which will have a reunion rebate that is unreal and only possible because of some partner sponsorship for the event. We are going to have a great time!

We will be bringing some smaller items from the pro shop in the event that you leave some stuff at home and don't feel like getting gouged at the marina. We will have these items well below retail.

Cant wait to see you all next week!

The fishermen cancelled his two rooms. Every room is now occupied by a Tige Owner or Family Member!
