Labor Day Pictures / Stories

Any good labor day pictures or stories? We spent the day at Utah Lake wakeboarding, skiing, and yes, to the horror of some people on this board, tubing! Sunny and smooth all day.

Labor Day means one thing for me. Practice. I have had one labor day off since I was 14 years old. We had a game plan meeting this morning and came back at 1:45 for lifting and meetings and got off the field at 6:45. As the old (kinda dumb saying) goes we Labor on Labor day around here.

BTW- School starts tomorrow for us so it is offically time to get back to work.

The water looks almost like a person could swim in it at that angle. Too bad the actual visibility is about 6 inches.

We were in Mud Lake, so the visibility was only a 1/4 inch.
and yes I was standing when I took the picture. Average depth of mud lake right now is about 3 feet. I like to think of it as a day at the Spa with a full body organic mud treatment!

You've got 3' of cushion. At least you dont have to worry about losing a prop. We've got rocks and stumps around here.

We have 3 feet of water and probably 10 feet of mud - No rocks or stumps. If you do ever hit bottom, it is really like taking some good rubbing compound to make your prop shine

i have one great story from this weekend, and it lasted all weekend. rain and cold. With 1 hour of wakeboarding.

Not too many Tige's where we boat, but launching early on Saturday there was 2 Tige's that had already launched and were heading out.
On Sunday, I was on the hydrofoil and my wife pulled me past a Tige V drive. When I finished my run, they came over to say hi and we found out that they lived close to us in the same town. Is it just me or do Tige owners seem friendlier?

We won our first game 32-14. It was 29-0 with about 4 minutes to go. We gave up a score 29-7 then went down the field and kicked a field goal. 32-7. We gave up a late score with 42 seconds left (that pissed me off). Overall we played ok for a first game but have much improvement for our league and playoff division. We have the toughest division in the state for playoff and one of the top 10 leagues in the state. Our first 6 games this year are against league champions from last year.
