Mission Reef Inflatable Mat

Someone mentioned these in another thread. But I can't seem to find many reviews for them online. Has anyone used one of these yet? I'm pretty new to the floating mat stuff. But I can see why this one is appealing for the space saving alone. It also looks extremely buoyant and durable. Which are two things my current $300 costco mat lacks. But $900 is pretty tough to swallow. Thoughts?

Basically raft material or what? To get it that rigid it has to be similar to a SUP mes thinks. Cool idea, don't have to worry about your giant foam roll taking out a motorcyclist when it falls off your swimdeck on the way to the lake! Bonus!

Another inflatable option. I don't believe it is as durable as the Mission Reef Mat, but you could replace it several times.

Or you could do what we saw a couple of girls doing last weekend when we were out on our SUPs...get a Coleman or similar inflatable camping /guest mattress. Saw 4 girls floating around the lake on one, it was even the double height.

and the mat portion is the same and pretty awesome. We use just that section all of the time for the last three years with no problems.

^^^^ a lot of these options above look awesome. The aqua glide looks especially fun. But after another weekend of hauling the gigantic roll up mat around, I bit the bullet today and ordered one of the Mission REEF pads. I will report back when it gets here.

Please update us. I contacted them about the weights and am determining if I want to spend the money as well. I am only about 1 hour from the Mission facility and they were nice enough to invite me to swing by and check them out. I haven't had the time. I am sure they were good to work with, us MN guys are pretty decent

I will definitely report back. I actually got to briefly see one in person at my dealer. They seem very well built. The price tag is what held me back for so long. My dealer also had a similar pad from HO. The Mission seemed better built. But that was just a 5 minute glance. I did like that the Mission was wider which allows an adult to like sideways on them.
