The owner of wakeballast has not told me the sale cost per bag, but has assured me the discount is significant and will be an event price only and will not be offering this any other time.

Thanks for the clarification Mike, yes these are steel. I understand the common language is to call them lead I get caught calling them lead as well. To people who know it's not a big deal but to those that don't lead is a serious health concern. Which is why wakeballast puts a big emphasis on steel not lead.

Yes 50lbs bags are the easiest way to add extra weight in hidden areas out of the way and take up significantly less room than 50lbs of water would. But the draw back is that they are in there all the time. It's a trade off, personally I run 1000lbs, and have friends who run more. If you don't mind spending 5-10 min before you launch to load the bags in it's not a big deal. If you have to drive 3 hours each way to Lake each trip, it could be bothersome.

Leadwake will also be at the event. They are the vendor for germaine and the weight used in the demo boats. Contrary to the name, leadwake also contains no lead, it's steel, fine like sand.

Either company is great, which means it should be a good opportunity to buy if you need some. Just wanted to clarify.

The loading of sponsor donations has comenced. This is only about half of it, every locker, under every seat, the bow and the floor is full!! Feeling like I have santas sleigh filled with everyone's wish list.

Elevated made it the Temple safe late last night and said the water is glass for as far as you can see. Lets hope the weather maintains calm winds, clear skies, and 90+.

WakeBallast was supposed to be bringing their Company Boat to the event, however he will not be bringing his boat but Ben will still be in attendance.

was packed and ready, and an opportunity has come up through work that was almost impossible today no to. It was a hard decision but in the long term just couldn't say no. So unfortunately
will not be making it out this year. We're completely bummed but it happens.
