Hey guys and gals. I know I'm late to the party on this but my girl and myself were talking about trips for this year and she brought up she really wants to make this one. I know the rooms are all booked but is there still camping available? Also are you able to leave the boat anchored or docked over night near the camp sight? it would probably be just the 2 of us and 1 or 2 friends.

Welcome MtnMan210. We would love to have you join us. There are plenty of camp sites available. As far as docking the boat, it's one of only 2 places I feel completely safe leaving it slipped (we leave it in the water for the whole week when we are there). With so many other Tige Owners around, we all feel comfortable with it. However, it's not going to be close to your campsite or the hotel. It's a hike with the water level being so low. Most of us driveback and forth (1/4 mile, maybe 1/2) to our rooms or campsites. There is one owner who takes his boat out in the evening, so it's still an option. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Indeed Welcome MtnMan!! Rest Assured you will not be the only one in the campsite as there will be other Tige Owners there as well. I usually go out for a night session of surfing if your interested. I co-coordinate this event with DP Powell so please feel free to reach out with any questions. The slips are nice but they are short in length though when I had my 24ve I never had issues getting the boat slipped as long as you don't mind a few feet hanging out the back. I think its safe to say that everyone leaves their boats in the slips the entire weekend. I leave all my boards and gear in the boat without worry (unless DP Powell decides he wants to steal my Soulcraft)

Hope to see you out there.

I must confess I have been absent here but can assure you that planning and coordination has been moving ahead full steam over the last few months. So here is a long but informative update to our progress as well as the much anticipated 12th Annual Sponsor Listing. Of course please understand some of this is subject to change as we are still adding sponsors. I am also going to release the Event Timeline for those that new to the event.

          Timeline of Events and Information

General Information- Most owners have VHF Radio’s. If you have one, the event channel will be 5. Please stay OFF of channels 9 & 16 for general communication unless declaring an emergency. There is A LOT of water out there, find your spot and have a good time no need to crowd the main harbor which is primarily used by the demo boats. We recommend people go north for the best water and the most space between boats.
Thursday- Pre-Event Kick-Off (MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW)
This event is optional. Please do not feel obligated in any way to attend.
Friday- Owner Arrivals, Meet and Greets, Demo Board Presentations, SURF System Demo’s, Demo Rules and Process, Coordinator Introductions at 7:00 p.m.
          - Parking Lot (Desert Side) of the Temple Bar Marina
          - Germaine Marine Demo Boats on Trailer and Demo Sign-Ups
          - Event T-Shirt Pick-Up
          - Boards/Surf Systems/Mission Reef Pad
          - All Demo products MUST be returned nightly to Brad/Dave/or Board manufacturer’s representatives. Room numbers will be provided unless told otherwise from above personnel.
          - PLEASE - No hoarding of Demo Products. Demo as long as needed and pass to another owner to demo.
          - Please be careful when handling boards and passing between boats.
          - All Boards and Surf Systems must be returned to Brad/Dave/ or Board manufacturer’s representatives NLT 5:00 p.m. on Saturday for Raffle.
          - We understand that products break, it happens please just let us know so we can provide that feedback back to the company.
Saturday- Owners/Family/Friends Tige Boats Picture. Large boat tie off in front of Temple Rock just outside the Harbor will take place at 12:00 p.m.
          - Please be courteous. Have your bumpers/buoys ready for tie off in advance. We don’t want any accidents.
          - PLEASE Watch your speed and wake on approach there will be people/kids in the water.
Once again, please ensure that boards/Surf Systems are returned to Dave/Brad NLT 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. We (coordinators) will need to prepare for the raffle. Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. under the overhang just below the desert facing rooms closest to the water. The dinner will be provided by Germaine Marine and will be at NO COST to owners and family. All boat owners who have brought their boat to the event will need to check in with a coordinator at 5:30 P.M to have your name added to the hat (1 NAME PER BOAT). Raffle will begin promptly at 6:00 P.M. Please understand – we are still working DAILY on adding more sponsors and more raffle prizes. If we are able to obtain prizes for every Tige boat owner (regardless if they brought their boat or not), we will open the raffle up to those attendees as well.
Saturday Evening Surf Session - After dinner and the raffle, around 9:00 p.m. there will be a boat or two leaving for an evening surf session (weather dependent).
***Sunday***- ALL OWNERS ARE REQUESTED TO MEET AT THE DOCK WITH THEIR BOATS AND THE PRIZES THEY WON FOR A PHOTO SESSION WITH JENN (OUR EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER) AT 9:00 A.M. THIS IS IMPAIRATIVE!!!! WE NEED TO SHOW THE SUPPORT TO OUR SPONSORS BY SHOWING WHERE THEIR DONATIONS ARE GOING AND WHO WON THEM. FAILURE TO SHOW UP FOR THIS DOES A HUGE DISCREDIT TO THIS EVENT AND COULD EFFECT OUR POTENTIAL SPONSORS IN THE FUTURE…DON’T BE THAT GUY!
We are truly looking forward to this event and seeing our Tige’ Family again at the reunion. We ask that everyone be safe, be smart, be responsible, and have a good time. We will do our best to ensure that everyone is involved and included in the event. Thank you for your attention to this and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Dave (D&P Powell) and Brad (theGerman618)

These are all great! BUT..I want to make sure I make this known for everyone. There are only a few companies that I can confirm have donated to this event since the beginning. We would like to thank Mike Simms of Mikes Liquid Audio (CHPTHRIL) for all the support he has shown everyone here on the forum as well as his participation to the West Coast Tige Reunion. We appreciate everything you do for us Mike, hope to have a beer with you in September!

How far of a drive is the event site from Las Vegas?

                    Comment

Really depends where in Vegas you're talking about. Roughly an hour to 1.5.

                        Good Afternoon Owners,

FOOD!!! If you are not already aware Germaine Marine is going to sponsor the owners dinner for the reunion and will be at NO cost. This year we are looking at doing a TACO BAR. I am requesting any personnel that have any food allergies or sensitivities to certain foods to please let us know. If you have something special that you would like prepared please bring it and I will be happy to throw it on the grill for you.

                        MENU:
                        Carne Asada
                        Chicken
                        Tortillas
                        Rice
                        Beans
                        Chips and Salsa

We are going to start reaching out for volunteers to assist with a few things at the event. THIS IS NOT REQUIRED!!!!!!!!!!!

We absolutely DO NOT want to take away from anyone's time on the water or with your families.

Here is what we are hoping that you can all assist us with as we are under the 90 day mark to the event.

                        1. Chairs (Gil has been kind enough in the past to bring chairs, hoping he can come through for us again)
                        2. Out Door Speakers with Microphone
                        3. Setup/Take Down of the Reunion Dinner (meeting at the lakeside overhang below the motel at 4:00PM)
                        4. Drone Pilot (TEAMALLEN and I saw Gil got one as well)
                        5. Cooking/Prep Assistance (I am bringing a HUGE BBQ for food)

If you are willing to assist us we would be greatly appreciative, if not we understand and we will make other arrangements.
