    Winterization - The dreaded off-season

I bought a 2011 RZ4 in the beginning of the spring and this will be my first time to winterize a tow boat. I know this has been covered hundreds of times but I don't want to dig through a million posts to find what I need.

I would like this to be a simple post with the necessities of winterizing a boat including:
    • Rodent prevention
    • Ballast system - including pumps
    • Vinyl care
    • Engine
    • Transmission

If there is anything else that I forgot that is a MUST DO, please, throw that in.

Doing a quick "winterizing" search got me everything I would need. You most likely have the PCM 343.

Look under the "HOW TOO" thread/posts

Engine water drain locations will change based on engine type. Your owners manual should identify winterization locations.

Unfortunately, I do not have an owners manual.
