    Leak...

I have been getting water in my boat and over the day it is a bunch. I have narrowed it down to coming in around one of the exhaust outlets. How is this repair accomplished?

The outlets are usually sealed in place with silicone or a marine sealant. I'd clean the area, let dry completely and reseal with 3m marine 5200 sealant.

Thanks. I believe it is a soft material. Silicone maybe. I would really hope it would be one of the 3m marine products.

Bet I still need some more info on how to accomplish this repair. It is a 4 inch hole in the boat that is failing.

Loosen the exhaust hose from the inside where it mounts to the flange, unscrew the flange from the outside and remove. Clean all the old sealant off and reapply with some 3M 4000.
