I'm not sure why everyone makes a big deal about the wood. Tige has a lifetime warranty on these hulls. If they thought they could get 10 years out of the wood, they would have warrantied them for that long. I heard they have had no warranty repairs yet. The wood is a non issue.

I will say that I think that if you are not the original owner, you are not going to have any luck with that. I seem to recall that getting the warranty transferred was either difficult or impossible, anyone remember those details?
