My wakesurf board is about a 1/2" too thick to fit in these racks. Anyone have any luck bending the opening of a rack like this to fit a larger board? Bad idea? Thanks 1003-2.jpg

AL doesn't bend well, greater chance of breaking/fractures. I though about doing this in the past and decided against it, and just pay the money for new fingers through either big air or krypt. I am surprised that with the board rack pictured that your wakesurf doesn't fit it looks like wakesurf spacing. My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

I think duffy might have cut out the middle fork and put foam to protect the board on the fingers. Not sure if it was Duffy but I definitely remember someone modding up the racks to work with fragile bigger boards.Originally posted by gkjunk757 View PostMy wakesurf board is about a 1/2" too thick to fit in these racks. Check out Duffy's mod of his rack in the picture. HE added PVC and dakine pads to protect the board.
