    Bra for towing boat

Not sure if that's what you call it, but I'm trying to figure out something to put on the bow of our RZR for towing. Got a rock ding in the gel coat last summer from a truck full of gravel. Pissed me off something fierce! At least it wasn't the windshield. My pickup took the brunt of it. Any ideas?

I had one of these on my old Mastercraft. Not the most elegant solution but it worked well. I priced out a custom one to fit my Rz2 and it was about $1500 Canadian.

I made my own that was a lot cheaper than Rocktamers. Just bought some Angle bar and another piece of flat bar from the depot. Then used a U bolt to secure it to my hitch. I've now adjusted it from this older picture so they stick out wider than shown hear. I may adjust it even more this spring. I also took some extra pieces of metal bar to help weight the bottom of the flaps so they don't bend as much when on the highway.

I am actually in the R&D phase of making an extension that is part of my travel cover and zips around the winch and down and gets fastened to the trailer frame.

I have bow buddy on my Z1, best investment yet. Made in Canada. I do think that they have dealers in the US. I believe there website is bowbuddy.com. The one in the previous post is what I have.
              Good luck.

I use flaps like BCRider when traveling any long distance. Some of those other net / bow protectors are pretty cool though. I hadn't seen anything like that before, pretty cool.

Alot of guys have really good luck with the rocktamers, but i never had much luck with them. I still always ended up with some small chips. The rockgard took care of that but i was still getting chips on the trailer, and i hated that after the netting got wet it picked up all kinds of dirt and dust and looked like crap. I added a pic of it on my old MC. I was thinking for my RZ2 i'll probably make my own rocktamer that goes the full width of my truck and i want to make a skirt type thing like on the other pic here. Still working on how to do it, but this would work really well.
