Robert, you really need to talk the Tige guys into not releasing a new product until your crew tests it. First the Z3 and now the ASR.... improved (err "fixed") with feedback from the field. Isn't it kinda silly that these guys couldn't figure this out from the get go?

That is a great idea... so if the Polar Bear will have an ASR there and could get a G23 there then perhaps that Friday could the G23 v ASR showdown!! If not we have access to several G23's at Southern Surfest... if we can get an ASR there from the local dealer or another source then we could definitely have the showdown in Atlanta the first weekend of May... maybe the Garcia's would join us in Georgia for the showdown!! That aside, this was a 2014 ASR, which I believe everyone seems to agree does not surf well. It will be interesting to see if the 2015 ASR brings anything to the table to "even the score". I would always be interested to hear what reason(s) cause people to change boats/brands.

That is interesting. We at Southern Surfest are trying to arrange for an official, all the way weighted, G23 v ASR showdown... we have the G23 no problem... the local dealer is going to see if an ASR can be at the event... so it would be a pre-event showdown southern style!! Hopefully the factory will support our dealer and have one present. If anyone else in the Southeast has a connection to a 2015 ASR that would be awesome. The event is the 1st weekend of May in Atlanta. Maybe Ragboy will beat us to it at Polar Bear which would be awesome!!Comment
