What is the list price increase for the 2015 over the 2014
Is there only two motor options?

Supposed to be 3 engine options I believe the 400,440, and like a 550 or something around there. Which I don't know why anyone would want an engine that big unless they were trying to make up for something else haha

Fronts should be 550# each, for 1,100# (unless they reduced the bow weight which would be a bad move), rear tanks are 250# each, so the bags would have to be 700# each to total 3,000# (if 3000# is the right total figure). I agree though that the bags look bigger than that based on how far forward they come, and JLG's description that they fill to the top of the locker.

The new VX requires less weight. I can tell you, that is going to put out a fantastic wake, as is.

wave pics?

Not the best pics as I was driver and picture taker, but gives an idea. Speed 10.1-10.4 and taps 4. Rear surf side bag 100% and both front bow bags 100% only me in the boat. I have video but don't want to sign up for youtube etc to load. Wave has plenty of height and push for stock and no extra ppl or weight in boat. Makes it nice for day trips like this where only a couple of us can sneak away.

Numbers came directly from Jean so I'm sure they are correct. I notice the new vx does shape a larger, deeper pocket behind the boat and really have to watch when riding top of wave to not lose control and come towards the boat at a very fast rate!

Yes, it has more power/push with less weight. But also try speeding up a bit with taps around 4ish. The wake will get longer, but not smaller.

to get more list the first choice is to always move weight to surf side first, if you can't do that, release some from opposite. Just when that face cleans up, is usually the best wave, in our experience.

Thanks will play around with it a little more this weekend. season is getting short so we just surf whatever and will spend a little more time adjusting at some point, but thanks for the expert advice. You know these model boats better than anyone. There was a 15-20mph wind pushing the top of wave so I think that is where you see some of the wash from.

I should say ADD weight to the surf side first. For instance, if you have room move people to surf side and fill up more on opposite. More overall weight equals more power. Too much weight can hurt the transition, but the new setup keeps a great transition even with lots of weight, so you should be fine.

Thanks will do. It was just me and a buddy on boat yesterday and entire lake to ourselves so no other weight "PPL" to add. Its just amazing how good of a wake this thing throws with stock setup. I have some custom z3 sacs I could put in it but don't want to lose anymore under seat locker space as these things are limited on storage with the closed bow seating. Was going to time the switch but forgot but I am very pleased with the transition time on this Z3. Can't say enough about how terrific this boat has been so far.
