Mine does have the factory installed ballast in the boat.

I would like to know what performance I could get w/o making any modifications.

    Anybody have any feedback ?

You can try filling only surfside rear tank run 10.5 MPH and TAPS at 4. Put all the people on surfside corner. See what you get. My 24V which takes more weight to sink, was really good with just an 1,100 that likely only had about 800 or 900 lbs in it. So I would think you would get something with People piled in the corner and the rear tank filled.
Mods: MLA BIG Ballast System (1800+ Custom sacs, 2 500 W705 sacs under bow), Duffy Surf Flap Mod, Trimmed Swim Deck, Top-Mount Starter

Thanks Stingreye.... I'm going to give it a try. I've noticed it puts up a pretty good surf wake one day and I wasn't even trying to make a surf wake at that time.

TWOhunter - one more comment. Since you are new to boating - suggest that you get very familiar with the boating rules and regulations by TPWD as well as check the jurisdiction of your local lake. IE - I found out the hard way that Lake Conroe has it's own set of Rules and Regulations established and enforced by San Jac River Authority and their Agents.

Nice find. One of the best surf boats around. Great colors and a Limited to boot. Score. Topaz Surfer on here has a 22v that has the best wake I've ever ridden. Look up his setup. It's way over the top but, it shows just what that hull can do.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.
