Coast Guard Tag

Just bougt a 97 pre 2000 wt in october of last year, and was wondering where do i find the coast guard tag that is on every boat, telling you the max cappasity and other stuff????? On my last boat it was by the throttle.

they don't do that anymore.

I thought it was required by law to have that, my 96 had one.

Mine was on the pylon, I have a 2000 21i

Capacity stickers are not required on boats over 20ft. The coast guard tag is on the bottom of the pylon.
