Recommended places to buy stuff

I was wondering if there is a list of recommended stores or website to purchase all the goodies. I am looking for a good deal on seablaze lights. Maybe some monster tower lights and fat sacs, too. Btw, how much weight should I get for a 22ve??? Thanks.

I would check with MLA (Chpthril) on the sacs. I would go as big as you can since you will never say that is too much but you will say that is not enough. I went with a custom sac. What year is your 22Ve and do you have any factory ballast?

Great!!! Thanks... Just got an 06 22ve.... Unfortunately, already spending goodie funds on repairs. Had 2 tires shred towing it home which tore up the fender and knock a brake shoe off plus I ended up replacing all the tires after the second one... They all say boat eat money, though I was hoping for a honeymoon period... image.jpg

Call me old fashioned, but I like to support my dealer whenever possible. The way I see it, if I support them, they are going to support me.

However I'd also highly recommend MLA just from what I've seen here. He's online everyday answering questions, and that is worth a lot. If I am buying anything aftermarket, he'll be my first stop.

Make sure the tires are properly inflated. To be on the safe side you should fill them up to MAX COLD PSI first thing in the morning before the sun hits them and before you roll them anywhere. The #1 killer of tires is underinflation and speed. Trailer tires also have a max speed posted as well, and I believe Goodyear Marathons have a note which says you can increase the Max Cold PSI by 10psi to get an extra 10mph on the highway with them. Read the tire service bulletin on the TireRack.com website for more info on tire inflation, loading and speeds.

The #1 killer of tires is underinflation and speed.

The #2 killer of tires is probably age (not mileage). This is a great tire age thread.

Learn to read tire date codes (4 digits, first two is week number, last two is year), do not buy "old" tires" and replace trailer tires within 4-5 years of manufacture, no matter the mileage.
