Your RZ4 is going to be over that limit once you have gas and gear and a trailer underneath. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think the dry weight includes the tower either. I can't really speak to the new V6, but I would only tow with it if I was on a flat street the whole way and never had to go over 40 MPH. Don't forget the most important half of towing...stopping. The smaller wheelbase of the Taco is not going to stop as well with a big boat like the RZ4. If you do crash into someone with the RZ4, it could be lawyer heaven.Originally posted by Cloud View PostUnless you don't got the Factory Tow Package, you shouldn't have a problem towing your RZ2 with a Tacoma.
It can tow 6500 pounds with the towing package. I towed my 4k pound boat around no problem with my Tacoma, and
plan on towing my RZ4 with it as well.Be excellent to one another.

My thoughts too. The boat and all will be more than the tow vehicle and can spell disaster when you have to stop quickly. A small motor, gearing and a light vehicle can "tow" a lot. When it comes to stopping then you need to have weight and large brakes in front as well as good working trailer brakes. This problem will only be exaggerated when braking down hill in a sharp corner.Originally posted by talltigeguy View PostYour RZ4 is going to be over that limit once you have gas and gear and a trailer underneath.
