Sorry missed your point... I see what you mean now... Again in my opinion.. you get use to driving the boat flat very fast... I am coming from a RZ2 like yours that was setup with the custom sacks and the rubrail kissing the water.. ( ragboy setup basically) I never felt unsafe like this, but I did hate having to stand to look over the high side to check boat traffic.. I would mostly have to sit with the bolster up.. In the BU I could sit anyway I wanted as you do have 360 vision.. We took the VLX for just about a full day almost 6 hours, hell if your going to spend 90+K we wanted to set it up exactly how we would on one of our boating days.. All the dealer did was sit their watched and answered questions.Originally posted by Ewok View PostKs, YOU didn't say a listed boat is dangerous but that is the main marketing push from Bu and Nautique and it's the prevelant discussion point on WW, BuCrew and Palnet Nautique. Most people that get a new boat with SG or NSS state that their wife or girlfriend is uncomfortable or feels unsafe having the boat listed. I just don't buy the false safety claim since I have searched the web and WW and have not seen any stories or articles about a boat that capsized or sunk due to being listed for surfing.
Back on topic, I'm glad this will be a wakeboard specific boat too. I don't ride as much as I used to, only once or twice a year but many of my friends do and I hope my kids will as well. It's a great sport which is still progressing from the riders to the boards and of course the boats, and it's great to watch.Tige owner since 2006
