It looks like you would probably come across 70 and down I-15? You would be welcome to come with me from St. George onward. Or at least follow me down to Echo Marina where I will launch from. It looks like I have a friend coming who is pretty good (this is an understatement) on the hydrofoil. Some pretty big air will be going down if that happens.Originally posted by Wickedcummins View Post$hit Looks like I can make this.... Anyone from colorado wanna make the trip with me ?
Wicked, would you bring the boat? There would likely be plenty to get a ride with if you don't. I will be returning Saturday night, which could put a damper on plans, but I bet one of the guys who is staying until Sunday might be able to run you up to Echo to your car if you just follow me there.Be excellent to one another.

Another "foiler"......plus Bill! Good time are ahead! Tall, are you really launching from Echo and driving the boat to Temple? Wicked, hope to see you there, it should be a good time!
I had a good meeting with the guys at Offshore Marine again last night and they are excited. Shane, the Service/General Manager should be there Friday and Saturday. There demo boat will be there for us to use and they may send out another boat for us to check out! I'm looking for a few more packages in the mail to add to the swag pile, but as is, we should make a few people smile! I'm thinking Dingle will only be entered into the drawing for a T-shirt to offset his past few years of fortune....any votes?

It looks to be about 20 miles. I can cover that in 40 minutes in the boat. If I drive around to temple bar with the tow vehicle, that adds about 2 hours to the trip. For gas it is probably a wash as well.Originally posted by Bad05 View PostAnother "foiler"......plus Bill! Good time are ahead! If this guy who foils makes it, he will make Bill look like amateur hour on the foil. Hopefully that doesn't inspire Bill to hurt himself again.Be excellent to one another.

My vote is that Dingle gets entered for all drawings, and has his kids pull the names from the hat again.Originally posted by Bad05 View PostI'm thinking Dingle will only be entered into the drawing for a T-shirt to offset his past few years of fortune....any votes?
Nah, I've had great luck the past couple of drawings...no worries if I am held back from the largest ones.

I am launching Friday as early as I can get there...usually about 10am.
I would not launch at Echo if it didn't save me at least 1 hour. I would guess that it would be faster to actually drive the car to Temple from where you are.
It would suck to have a mechanical failure or ding a prop 20 miles away from my trailer (knock on wood).Last edited by talltigeguy; 09-05-2013, 07:08 PM.Be excellent to one another.

I think I'm going to drive to temple bar. Dropped of the boat and trailer at Offshore Marine this morning to have them change out the Master cylinder and bleed out brakes. Previous owner neglected trailer maintenance. Shane at Offshore Marine had been very helpful. Also a big thanks to John aka bad05 for referring me to them.

Glad they could help you out! They are stand up guys with good Owner support and very excited about the Tige brand! If anyone has been taking their boats, specifically Tiges, to another shop, I would say at least give these guys a call! They took care of my boat immediately after burning up an impellor and obviously helped out Gil as stated above!
