Heads up FAE brushed stainless!

Just talked to Christina at FAE and they are offering a brushed stainless option at no extra cost. Thought I would let everyone know who has ordered online. There is also a side mount option that makes it easier for installation. These options are not on their website yet. She said they were going to update the site soon. I will post a couple pics of the brushed stainless. It looks good!

I just revieved my email back from FAE, and they said something about the side mount platform quick release. Do you think a quick release is worth it? I take my swim deck off at the end of the year, and hats about it. Not sure if its going to be that big of a deal to take off once a year..... Any thoughts???

I ordered the side mount. It's a $20 dollar option. I really don't ever take my swim platform off, but when I do I don't want to mess around any longer than I have to.

I would get the quick release. But then again I use mine all the time.

quick release is a great option especially if you store your boat at home in the garage and have to r
emove the swim platform anyway. with fae on my 20V would not fit so being able to remove easily before putting boat in garage in the wee hours after a long ride home from a weekend jaunt was great and worth every penny.

I just ordered the side mount and the quick release with the brushed stainless. It is supposed to ship pretty soon. I will let you know how it works when I get it, if someone doesn't beat me to it.
