Just routed my vent & drain hoses to the opposite side of my RZR boat. I used about 10 ft per hose. Cut all old zip ties and route nice and clean. I used some HOT WATER to dip the hose end to asisist in pushing on to hose barb fittings. You will need new hose clamps. Make sure your fill lines have an in-line check valve to stop bag drainage. This is not difficult, just time consuming. You will need to need to take some side and back panels out to get access to the rear of the boat.Originally posted by chpthril View PostAnd drain. We do it with most of our ballast systems with the taller sacs. On each side of the stern, you have a vent and drain thru-hull. All you do is pull the hose off all 4, and extend them to the other side of the boat and reconnect them to the thru-hulls. Is about 10-12 ft per hose.
See thread.

If you want all new hose from your hard tank drain pump without adding an in line hose barb connector, you need to loosen the floor to gain access to the hard tank pump. Most people will suggest all new hose to avoid a hose splice and maybe some water flow restriction. It is your call.Originally posted by CarFanatic View PostAn that sounds like a lot of work to pull the floor up. Do you need to do that to route the 2 lines from each bag?Nick

The pro/Surf level ballast systems have a single fill and single drain pump per side, same as the base level. The fill plumbing is split so its flow goes to the hard tank and soft tank. The soft sac connects to the hard tank via 2 lines off the bottom of the sac. The sac vent line ties into the hard tanks vent line. The drain pump pulls water from the hard tank.Originally posted by CarFanatic View PostI thought the hard tank flowed into the bag on top? Do they have separate pumps? I thought you just had to run two lines from each side.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

yes, 2 per side.....a vent and drain for each side. Nothing to modify with the bow.Originally posted by CarFanatic View PostI guess when my boat arrives I will have to look at all this. So If I want to cross vent. Exactly how many lines per side am I moving? Its just 2 per side isn't' it?Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Theres 2 ways to approach this mod. 1) use a HB x HB hose splice connector and simply pull the hose of its existing thru-hull and extend it over to the other side. Simple and easy, but the splicer does add a little restriction to the flow. In vent line, it is not an issue at all. In the drain line, you would need a stop watch to measure the reduction. 2) go right to the drain pump and vent T and run new hose from each over to the other side. Takes a little more hose, but no slicers. But, it will require gaining access to the drain pump, which is under the floor panel.Originally posted by CarFanatic View Postdo you have to pull the floor up to get to the vent line? or is it easily accessible?Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Proud new owner of a z3
Hello everyone, I just bought a z3 from the dealer here in Utah and I'm so excited to get it ready for the 2014 season. My last boat was a centurion sv230, with enzo sacs the surf wake great but I wanted see what tige could offer, so I sold the enzo and made the switch. My dealer tells me that with the pro ballast that's all I need but I was skeptical of that considering only 600 lbs in the rear surf side. Then I found this this thred. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and check to see If these sacs were still available for purchase? Look forward to hearing from you.
