Moving on to my next project, Project New Dash. Airguides are gone. PerfectPass is on its way. All new switch actuators on their way as well. Old HU & remote are out. All new stereo wiring has begun along with a BlueSea ACR. Once again, Chpthrl has been a huge help. I'm hoping I can stop asking him questions about it very soon. He has been awesome in helping me set it up correctly. Thanks dude.

Nick, I would have given you my old stereo and remote. I wish I knew you were doing this project.Originally posted by NICKYPOO View PostMoving on to my next project, Project New Dash. Negative. I just relocated them to where the AirGuides used to reside. The stereo remote is where the multi gauge was and the PerfectPass will go where the tach was. The old stereo remote was down on the left switch panel. Filling that hole is going to be the tough part. I will reveal that one when its done. It's basically just going to be a box for phones. It's not exactly an off the shelf product though. I'm fabricating it from scratch. The trick is going to be making it look factory stock. The box is easy. The trim ring is going to be a B.Originally posted by Wakeman22 View PostLooking good. Are those the new gauges? You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Just to be clear, I had a remote. In fact, it was the second remote. It had the factory JVC HU and remote. I replaced it with, what was/is a very nice Pioneer HU (DEH-P7700MP) and remote that was one of the first iPod ready marine set ups. The remote "brain" took a chit last year. It's now time to put in the some next gen iPod connectivity.Originally posted by tigeidaho View PostLooking good. You will love that new deck and remote. My first boat was a ski boutique and I loathed the deck being on the passenger side without a remote.
Hyphen, what deck and remote do you have and how much would you want to part with it? PM me if you prefer.
I'll sell the Pioneer for cheap. I saw one of the brains on eBay a couple months ago for $50.You'll get your chance, smart guy.

New HU and remote are up and running. Everything has been rewired. From the batts to the speakers. All that. New BluSea ACR as well. Still need to clean up some of the wiring but, it sounds much better. I'm planning to replace the amps and speakers but, that will have to wait until next season. Just need my PerfectPass to show up and I can get that done and be ready ride. You'll get your chance, smart guy.
