Just makin sure you know that. That's another reason I like the MT2. You can mount it to the gunwhale. It actually looks pretty good on your boat/our boats.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

What did you use for your teak swim-step? I'm going to take my boat out in a couple of weeks and this would be a good project to work on before summer.

I'll have to look a little more before ordering.

I just took the deck off (it was powerwashed before winter)sanded it down with some 80 and 100 grit. Dont want it too smooth or it will be slick. Then blew all dust off, gave it 2 coats of Starbrite Teak Oil.

We were an Arial dealer. No more. Their customer service is the absolute worst. So bad that my parts accessory supplier stopped carrying them in their catalogs.

Really. Well that makes my decision pretty easy then on ordering anything from them.

Well I ordered the H2O tower today. Should have it in about 1-2 weeks. Has to be sent out to be powder coated white. A nice surprise they've updated it some and it will now have an intergrated Nav light. Ready to get it installed and some warmer weather.

That'll look nice in white. Real nice. The more I look at that tower, the more I like it. Let us know how it performs.

I had an aerial on my last boat. It was great the only thing I did to it was has the joints where the tower tubes meet the inserts welded up by a local shop made the tower super tight.

That doesnt shock me after reading the install instructions.

I think the H2O is going to be a great tower. I'll add comments/pics after the install. Then we'll also see how well they preform. The fun part is when you put a tape measure to the boat and see how nothing is ever perfect side to side. The end of the window frame is off about 1" side to side from the bow. So its almost throw the tape out the window make the tower match up with the boat side to side.

That's exactly what I did. I took the boat down to the tower manufacturer and had them build the tower to the boat.

I took the measurements off the boat myself. The H2O is a simi-custom tower. The H is standard, the lower legs are. The upper part of the legs / main bends are custom to the measurments of the boat to within a few inches of wiggle room.

Got the new steering cable in. It worked perfectly so SSC615 is a good replacement number for reference.
