    The spring updates had began

Pulled the boat into the shop Sunday removed the winter cover. Have to get some measurements for the tower. Also noticed the steering cable needs replaced. Not a big surprise there. Only real issue is its a Morse cable (rotary style) so have to find the correct Teleflex repacement.

After seeing eveyone elses results I started in on the swim platform. I was very happy wiht the results. Makes it almost look new again.

Now its on to getting the correct tower measurements and figuring out exactly which tower, were looking at 2 different ones still. Ordering the tower and install. Bimini will be next. Followed by dual batts.

A few hrs worth of work was well worth it.

Yes I do but it's about 5th on my upgrade list which will probably end up being next year. I've gotta get tower on it first along with a Bimini top. Then racks, dual batts, and amp for my tower speakers. Plus I've been eyeing a few different boards.

I couldn't live without Perfect Pass - it would be at the top of my list. It is incredible and an absolute must - especially if you have a wife or friends that pull you. No more fighting with the driver to go faster/slower, just ride at the perfect speed.

My brother and I are the main drivers so not much fighting there compared to the past. We can pretty well tell by the sound of the boat and shape of the wake on speed. My wife for not much wheel time pulls very good, and only gets better everytime she drives, so thats why PP moved to #5. Need the tower and everything more to get the boards off the floor to make for some room. We typically have about 5-10 people in the boat plus gear and ice chests.

I saw the group buy and really wanted to but cant.

Looking at 2 towers. Top is Big Air H2O then behind it would be Aerial's Assault. Need to do some measurements still yet and then onlyinboards has a reference tool that allows you to place a pic of the towers over a pic of your boat to give you an idea of how they would look.

Like the Samson towers but cant afford them.

Then the next issue is making current bimini fit with modifications or buying a new one. In Oklahoma heat its a must.

Ive ordered one cable from my parts guy in town. His Teleflex book crossed it over to a SSC6115 and it comes with the adapter. So should know in a few days. He was very very shocked the boat still had a Morse cable in it. Must have been one of the good ones to last that long.

I would go with the Aerial out of those two.

                    What about Monster?

Ive never been crazy on the look of the front 2 bars on the monsters. They just turn in too quickly killing view out of front.

The only thing Ive heard on Aerial is they sometimes are not the strongest. Have you had any dealings with them?

Just looking at their site and ya, I would throw the MT2 on there before I would ever consider an Aerial.

My friend use to work with the owner of Big Air when he first started the company, so he's pulled behind theres is why Im considering theirs. They use to pull the kite tube off of the tower with no issues. So has to be built decently well, plus the company has a very good reputation from all the feedback Ive seen. They are very quick at responding to my emails on a few questions Ive had. Not to mention Id be supporting an Oklahoma comapny

That's understandable. That Aerial isn't going to fit like you have it shown. The rear mounts would have to go to the sides of the hull. They are also China made and if you have to send anything back, it'll be two weeks before you get a replacement. They will not ship anything until they get the offending part back. Had to do that on a friend's boat. The upper tube was bent (super thin tubing) when we took it out of the box and the tower would not go together. It sat there half done for two weeks.

I knew the fit on the screen shots, but gives me an idea of what it looks like. Scale is off a bit too. Mount points are longer on the aerial than it shows.

China makes me want to order the H2O plus if I had a problem its an easy call or at most if I needed it quickly a 4 hr total drive to get new parts.
