Pro-80 was discontinued last year with the release of the Rev-8 and Rev-10. The Rev-8 is an all new 8" HLCD thats in a pd thats roughly the same size as your current pro-60. The Rev-10 id a 10" HLCD in a housing thats the size of the Pro-80 you are looking for. If you are looking to just add a pair to the existing setup, then I would suggest the Rev-8. I would consider pulling the Pro-60 and going with a single pair of Rev-10, but this would require an amp change if your 60's are powered by the OEM installed Syn-2.Originally posted by chadsanchez View PostI am looking to get a pair of Pro 80x's for my 2011 RZR ... The pro 60s pods are the same as the Rev 8 pods. The Rev 8s are a 8" HLCD and the Rev 10s Are a 10" speaker. A syn 4 is perfect on a pair of Rev 10sOriginally posted by chadsanchez View PostSo the Rev 8's are the same size as the Pro 60's? I had the Syn - 4 installed when I bought the boat since I knew I would end up with 4 tower speakers ... Should I go the Rev 8's or the Rev 10's? Is there any visual difference in the Pro's vs Rev's?

Yes sir, the new Rev-8 is an 8" HLCD like the old Pro-80, yet its in a pod the size of the Pro-60 you currently have a pair of.Originally posted by chadsanchez View PostSo the Rev 8's are the same size as the Pro 60's? Here is a thread where we added a pair of Rev-8 along side a factory pair of Pro-60 powered by a Syn-4.

This owner wanted 4 speakers for the aesthetics. Even though I would normally say that the available 125 watts to each speaker from the Syn-4 is a bit light for an HLCD, this owner was after a surf setup as primary and a wake-range setup secondary. The Syn-4 allowed us to tune the Rev-8 with lower mid-bass then the Pro-60 for a fuller, more balanced sound, but it just wasnt as loud as it could be as both pair are capable of handling more power.
Unless a 4 pod setup for the looks of it is high on your list, I would seriously consider replacing the Pro 60 with a pair of Rev-10. If a 4 pod setup and reaching wake-board range is your goal, then I would consider a different amplifier setup, which would depend on what you choose for the 2nd pair.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
