Hello everyone I need to rebuild the oil bath bearing assembly. I have a extreme trailer, went to their site no parts section there, are they a standard marine item? I was going to try west marine, I'am here in So Cal, any help would be appreciated. Thx's

if your really set... use pacific trailers.. they are based in chino CA! I usually get all my trailer parts from them! Call UFP, they most likely are the manufacturer of your axles. I told them that the brakes were dragging and popped the dust caps off on my Boatmate and they sent me new calipers and everything I needed to rebuild my Oil Bath hubs. Under Warranty
If they are UFP oilbath and braking systems they will stand behind them

Six Roblees is a good resource for Trailer Parts.
They also suggested grease is better than oil for any bearings that are not used daily.
When sitting for extended periods, a portion of the bearing is above the oil surface. With time and moisture, that part will corrode.
