I guess i used the recall word wrongly. It wasn't really a big mail/email out thing. They just came out with the new style and when the old nylon bushings fail and the customer brings the boat in they will be replaced under warranty with the new style. I really dont think they made too many with the nylon. This was a very early 2012 model year change.FairTax.org

My wife suggested trying to get in the garage with platform on (novel idea) because we have a bit of alcove where ac unit is. After telling her how stupid she was for thinking that was possible - Our garage is standard 7ft door opening 16' x 20' two car jobber. This is the result!!! Yes!
So excited I do not have to mess with it every time just need to be super carefule backing in.

Looks like you will be eating crow. Better take your wife out and make up for your comment.
Cool that you got it in without having to remove it. I have to take mine off, plus I have the FAE, and put down my tower every time I put it in the garage which is after every trip. It is always in the garage. I wish I had a bigger garage so I didn't have to.

Wait - you got an RZR in a 16'x20' garage? Hmmmm....maybe I don't need a Z3 if I could get an RZR in my garage.Originally posted by whiteflash watersports View PostMy wife suggested trying to get in the garage with platform on (novel idea) because we have a bit of alcove where ac unit is. I have to lower tower every time too but thats no big deal. Always worth it to store in garage. It fits with about an inch of clearance under the door and two inches in the back and about two inches form door rib. On an angle as you can see form pics.
If we did not have the little alcove area I would have to remove swim platform.

Don't you hate it when your wife proves you wrong? At least it worked out in your favor this time!Originally posted by whiteflash watersports View PostMy wife suggested trying to get in the garage with platform on (novel idea) because we have a bit of alcove where ac unit is. Swim Deck Bolt Bushings
Thanks for the post! I just so happen to be cleaning my swim platform polished aluminum brackets. (Removal is easy after pulling the safety pin and 1 center bolt.)
I found upon removing my swim deck, some of the bolt bushings fell on the floor. I noticed most of the bushings were either broken or cracked. I am glad to see Tige has gone to shorter bolts that do NOT need these bushings. I am contacting my dealer for replacement bolts.
Does anyone keep there aluminum polished or just let it tarnish?Last edited by NHarp1; 10-27-2012, 05:43 PM.Nick

Cleaning was fairly easy. It took about 30 min for the whole thing. Cleaner did a good job...however you need a good buffer to really make it shine. I used a cotton wheel at Lowe's on my drill. I would recommend to removed all bolts and flip the deck over to be comfortable. It does take some effect..not sure how long it will last.
The 2 mile lake we use use to be a gravel pit and has a high mineral content.
Good luck.Nick
