Carpet to Textured?

Has anyone done this? I have to replace the carpet AGAIN bc i used cheap material, stupid yes, anyway, is it possible to pull the carpet up and put down a textured floor. Would i leave the sides carpet? or texture them too?

That is some wicked stuff, i figure it is prolly pretty expensive

Instead of working hard to put down a nice texture finish, you might look at pulling the old carpet, rolling down some sort of white or light colored bed liner, and then lay the poseidon on top. It might be spend but probably and easier upgrade than trying to clean up the floor and adding a smooth gelcoat finish.

I didnt even think about putting down bedliner, great idea! then save up some cash and put down the Poseidon. Looks like this is the top idea, Im still open to more, keep them commin fellas

I wonder if they have the template for the older boats, like the 2007 timeframe? Before they put the box under the driver's seat?

I just talked with them and all you need to do is get some of the brown painting paper, make a template of your floor plan and send it in. My floor has two captains chairs that do not sit on the boxes. My boat will end up using quite a bit of material over the new boats.

make sure your template is exact cause what you send them will be exactly how they cut it.. IF your off they are off
