I'll go first. My thoughts are on the tower. While I do love the way the Alpha Z looks, it doesn't offer the functionality of a tube tower. No way to mount more than 1 set of racks per side, can't do a Wetsounds Rev 410, can only do 4 tower speakers, the height is fine without tower speakers but once they are on there, the speakers get in the way due to their hang height. I like everything else and honestly, the tower is fine for the most part but IF they were looking for something to improve upon, that would be my pick of these items listed.

Tige has a great stereo, but it might be nice to get the speakers off the floor.

I agree with the Alpha Z tower having some strengths, the Centurion tower is a lot taller and seems equally stable, even being just a fixed 2 point tower.

I am not quite a fan of the super bright white vinyl. Seems to attract discoloration like a mother, IIRC, I think TIge is the only mfg that has vinyl that bright of white. It looks awesome in the showroom, but it is hard to keep it awesome while actively using it.

Fixing the tower so it can have more board racks is my #1 issue. Not being able to get 4 racks almost had us go Malibu.

Graphics and Tower. Like other have said the boardrack situation is very limited.

I think having more options in the gel, graphics, and tower would be good for all the models. For example - there is only one tower. I like the alpha, but some people need more racks or do not like the alpha. Same goes with the graphics - I do not like the new graphics and the freeride graphics are getting somewhat dated.

If you are going to price point a boat at $70K+ range then you have to differentiate it and attract that customer base. If you want to sell a $70K "me too" boat then you will not do that very long as that strategy has not clearly worked (e.g. looked at Mastercraft and all the new competitors in that space, Tige being one of them of the last 10 years)

For most of us - the purchase of a boat is deep personal connection with the brand. This is why you see all the brand bashing going on, but being able to add more customization will further add to the brand cache - (e.g. Tige delivers superior style, custimazation, technology, great service, etc).

With the escalation of price in recent years - my guess is that elasticity in price is about to snap and it will be about all the intangibles (service, customization, options, dealer network, etc). Point being, if the market can not command higher prices and the Tige, Mastercraft, and Malibu/etc. all have similar features/benefits (e.g. touch screen ,surf, cool interior, etc) then there is little brand positioning to be had (e.g. everyone is a "me too" product)

Just my two cents!!! Sorry for the rant - add more customization options!!

Then you can't hear the stereo when you have people sitting in the seats. It's a catch 22 on that one.

I love the alapha Z TOWER my favorite part (actually would have bought a malibu it tige had anything other than the alpha Z.. As for board racks and speakers on it its aluminum drill and tap more zacks and speakers SIMPLE for the buyer.. I think they could use THICKER vinyal. Also MORE COLORS of graphics. And a nice Gel coat finish like the Malibu..

OFF THE LIST WINDSHIELD needs to me wayyyyyy nice like the Malibu..

What about the tower being cast aluminum with nothing to support it from behind though? I'd be concerned about tapping cast aluminum and then hanging 30lbs+ from it with the vibration and beating that a boat takes.

I wouldnt worry about that at all.. from what I can tell is atleast 1/4 thick might even be 1/2 inch. I wouldnt worry about anything behind it honestly I dont believe the areas now with bolt holes have any backing material. Being its casted there is no way to get backing material in there other than build it into the mold!
