I know this is a common question on this site so more than likely I have missed this discussion...does anyone have suggestions on the best settings for surfing on a 2011 Z1 with factory surf ballast setup? Thanks!

Last year I ran 650# in the rear port compartment and 400# in the bow, taps at 3-4 speed at 10.4-11mph depending on crew size and placement and had a very surfable wave. This winter into wife bought me a 1200# sac from Chpthril ! I have it in but have yet to try it out. I wanted the larger sac so I could still get the larger wake even if we have a smaller crewOriginally posted by porky1 View Post
I don't know how much weight the factory surf has but I would fill whatever rear compartment side you are surfing and the bow plumb full. The play with your taps from 2-5 or 6 and your speed from 10-11.5mph. Keep your peeps on the surf side or move one or two to the bow. The Z1 likes bow weight no matter what you are doing, my bow sac is full at all times on the lake.
