Z3 carpet fit issues

The issue isnt the snaps it's specifically under the drivers seat foot well area, there are no snaps in that area

If that's the case it would probably have to get fixed by a carpet shop, going to have to mark the area to trim and have a new edging installed on the trimmed section. I guess the question now is who is going to pay for it...

our boat sees use daily and im thinking the sun and water on it shrunk it just a hair , maybe i just got used to the carpeting being baggy, well have to chat with the dealer about it, im wondering if it has shrunk further now after being cleaned and dried outside of the boat... will see next month i suppose

A lot more to it than just that question. Are you needing to redo the carpet in a boat? Are you covering a boat house floor? Is this for a room in your house? Google "marine grade carpet" for your answers.
