What do you regularly store on your boat?

We use the vinegar as well, but after whipping the boat we hit it again with Quick detail wax.
I think I am going to try adding the wax and see if I can save a step

I always wipe my boat down and then spray it with "Ducky". Does your vinegar mix work better then this? I'll have to give it a try. Ducky is kinda of expensive, but it keeps my boat looking brand new. It's almost three years old now and you could still put it on the show room floor. I used this stuff on my jetski and when I sold it the guy asked me if i was sure I really used the ski Anywho, the ducky was on sale, so I'll have to wait, but I'll give this stuff a try if it really works as good as you say.

Why are you guys using Turtle Wax instead of a marine wax in the vinegar and water solution? And are you guys using soft water?

I have been using ½ vinegar and ½ reg water and a few squirts of McGuire’s wax.

Works great!


I even cleaned up a Seedo that I had left water spots on since last season!

Looking at the motor and what things might go wrong, I noticed screw drive clamps all over the place. I just threw a few misc. size ones in my tool box. I'd hate to be stuck by a 20 cent part breaking.

Pretty much store the same gear and I keep them in plastic tubs. Makes for loading and unloading very quick and painless, plus keeps the containment-tidey.
I use distilled Vinegar mixed with soft water in sprayers after each session. Does great. Wax her every few weeks to maintain.
