Water temps have been fine, its the dog gone wind we are battling! There are waves on the lake right now big enough to surf...

I don't doubt it! The lake house is an hour inland and the wind was kicking.

Now that the water temperature is perrrrfect, we get an unwelcome visitor named Beryl with 15+ knot winds all weekend. Don't know what's worse, cold water or high winds?

I went without a wetsuit this weekend at 66 degrees.

How about 54.5 degrees w/no wetsuit! That's what it was here in Oregon this past weekend. Couldn't stand it any longer. River is high but free of any debris. You learn to have only the required parts of your body in the water when you are waiting to get picked up. Balancing on your board with only your stomach touching is key to staying warm.

It's good to have summer here again!!!
