I was thinking about those same two points. The tabs on the Sanger are huge. The basically cover the entire width of one side, from fixed plate to outer edge of the hull. The are also very thin making them quite flexible. Not sure if that would help in the opposite side nose push but, it seems it would help with the cutting into the face issue.Originally posted by dom w. forte View PostI beleive that surf tabs could have a little ill effect of pushing the bow down at the opposite end instead of tillting the boat as much, also would like to see if the tab notches into the wake at all, even when up esspecially at slow speed? You'll get your chance, smart guy.

The surf tab is designed to throw more water into the wake, so you deploy the tab on the surf side, this shrinks the wave a bit but gives a nice lip to use that you normally wouldn't have. Unfortunately the tabs got screwed up and deploy or do not fully retract at wakeboard speeds so you get this goofy lip on one side and a pile of mush on the other. He disconnected the tabs and wire tied them to the platform brackets to prevent this from happening because it was such a major issue. The answer? Don't get them, it's a complete waste IMO. If you have a TIGE don't even bother you can make a pro level surf wake with just weight and tapsOriginally posted by NICKYPOO View PostWhich problem? Both problems?

Hey, was that Sanger at Marine Specialties, or did you see it someplace else? My best friend has an 09 V237, and it does OOOK with the stock ballast surfing. Not quite as good as my 20v . He just needs a little more weight, and it would be an ok wave.

It was at the home show/motorsports expo/outdoor expo/pet show. Kinda funny, Lockett can't get enough people together for one show so he crammed them all together. There was actually a lot of crap crammed in there.
That reminds me, I need to start a new thread.Last edited by NICKYPOO; 03-26-2012, 12:48 AM.You'll get your chance, smart guy.
