2012 Lake Mead Reunion September 21-23

Glad to see the early participation and I've confirmed with Tige, they are here for us. Please start tossing ideas around so we can make sure it's the best one yet! The Marina was excited for the event and should have no issues with us taking over as long as the planning is done in advance and doesn't bother their regular operations/boaters. I think there will be enough participation for both the camping and houseboat rentals we will just need to decide on the event location, or home base! I'll take care of the shirts again this year unless someone else wants that beast....regardless, lets hear some design ideas. Last year we used the Welcome to Las Vegas sign concept and a Z3, backs will be similar with the vendors/sponsors. Is it Sept. yet?

I think a Marina Houseboat is in line for us as well, although knowing the floorplan now, we might make some adjustments. That's 2 of the 3-4 houseboats already spoken for, I'll have to get with Herb early to see if they could bring a few up from Callville again this year!

Its never been a problem for us. Theres always someone with room on a boat for a boat ho thats more then willing to let you tag along.

Three quick questions... 1. Has a firm date been set? It looks like everyone is looking at 22-23 Sept. Hate to be pushy, but want to put the vacation request in sooner rather than later. 2. For the houseboats (and this may sound stupid), does 1 person/family rent it out, and rent the other rooms out to participants? My wife and I would love to rent a room, but Im not even sure if that's how it works. 3. Will there be any vendors selling stuff there (i.e. chpthril)? Or do you attend just for pleasure Mike?

Last year, we shared a houseboat with Dan and Jon and thier better halves. We are planing to do the same. I guess it would depend on how many of you are coming.

I really just come for the fun of it. The wife and I have been attending even before I was MLA. I will not be bringing any product with me, except for maybe something as a give-away. If there's something you want, let me know and I can ship to the in-laws in Vegas and bring it out to the lake with me.
