Then it would seem like you got a good price and the boat you wanted.Originally posted by patryk View PostOh and my r20 has the upgraded 5.7L PCM engine
Outstanding for you.
Like anything everyone has their opinions re: boats etc. Moomba vs. Tige is an issue of preference and choice.
I came close to buying a Tige 20V. I liked that boat and its pricing. For reasons already stated I went with a Supra at a fantastic number with no regrets. I tow to the lakes and decided to minimize expense because of limited use. With fuel continuing to skyrocket I think price will become more and more of an issue at least to me.
Towing round trip to weekend lake 140 miles and 4-6 hour boat run time at avg. of 7 gallons an hour adds up. Vacation for a week with 1400 mile round trip and 5 hours a day on the boat is what leads to price point question. In the scheme of things will buyers buy same size boat for less when usage cost are on the rise unless money is no issue.
Enjoy the upcoming season.Taxman got all the money :(

My beef was with the glued in carpet too prior to buying our RZ$. Then I finally seccumed to the reality only to realize how much I appreciate it later.Originally posted by patryk View PostI looked at the Mojo, Mobious and Outback before I bought my R20. You know what sucked most about the Moombas? None of the ones I looked at had snap out carpet, it's permanently glued. All 3 of those boats at the show came out to be more than my R20 as well.

Removable carpet is one option I don't understand. To me you either want carpet or you don't. I wonder how many owners remove the carpet or vice a versa. If my choice was carpet vs fiberglass floor I vote for carpet. I guess that is why it is an option! for more money.Originally posted by Nobody View PostHa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!

NOTE I prefer the 20V I had over the R20 or RZR. The pickle is ok but rear seat, tower and color and graphics are turn offs to me. I prefer mirror mounted to tower billet and 5.7 vs. 5.0 as standard motors. If I get back in boat market a 20V or 22E will be my Tige preferences. The 20V was a good value and a blast to drive, ski or tube behind. They have seemed to hold reasonable resale values which is bad for me good for seller. What was last model year of 20V with MP vs.
PCM ?

It's also much easier to replace if you ever need to. I wish they offered some nicer carpet options. I love the newer Nautique carpet.Originally posted by Timmy! They do. The new poisiden mat.It was in a thread here and i saw it at the Greensboro show.Water runns right through it and it breathes so it doesn't get hot in the sun.It comes in GRAY or BLACK.Originally posted by houstonshark View PostIt's also much easier to replace if you ever need to. Because if you store your boat and the carpet still has moisture in it, over the winter the whole inside will mold to hell. I remove my carpet for winter storage and also its also easier to take the carpet out and wash it down then spray the deck off when cleaning rather than vacuuming the carpet.

Theres a pic on WW of a Mojo with a boat-show price of $62K. If a Tige R20 is 10K more then that, let me at it cause its got a few bars of gold hidden in it

That was one laoded up Mojo. As you know you can run the price up on any inboard up to a ridiculous number based on desired options. I am sure an R20 can become unreal in price as well from numbers I played uning initial R20 and RZR dealer price sheets.Originally posted by chpthril View PostTheres a pic on WW of a Mojo with a boat-show price of $62K. It is a game a relativity. In this thread I forget who indicated they got a new RZ2 for $62K which is a great deal. I have also seen the RZR at $68K so it had gold plating somewhere also. All I can say is the Mojo base is low $40K range and with reasonable options nicely equiped is in the $55-$58K range unless you bling it up which was part of my point.
I passed on a left over Tige 2009 20V at $38K well below an Outback V with its base at $39K. It had base setup up 4 channel Clarion, 5.0L 300hp. Basic tower and racks, fiberglass platform and flex fiberglass scheme. It was a nice Tige. It was a good deal and well less than my Supra. In todays Market you can spend the time and find fantastic prices on most inboards with previous year closeouts, dealers closing out etc. You can also find the opposite.
Thank you for the input.Taxman got all the money :(

Yeah, the mat is ok. I meant a higher grade carpet option.Originally posted by robert theisen View PostThey do. The new poisiden mat.It was in a thread here and i saw it at the Greensboro show.Water runns right through it and it breathes so it doesn't get hot in the sun.It comes in GRAY or BLACK.

No, it cant. Thats why Tige also builds the RZR. The R20 has a base of standard features and limited options. If someone wants more, then you are moving up to an RZR. So from the factory, the R20 will have a ceiling. And I do not believe it will be 10K more then a Mojo with similar options.I am sure an R20 can become unreal in price as wellMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I still think the most Bling you can put on the Mojo it would still pale in comparison to a almost basic RZ2.I know the RZ2 would still cost more, but i could justify it.I buy a boat to enjoy it,so i make sure it has everything i want on it.When i went looking at both of the Tige's i bought.I looked at Mastercraft,Malibu,Axis,Correct Craft,Supra,Moomba,M B and even a Centurion and Epic. When all those boats were optioned as close as i could get them i weeded out the ones that wouldn't work for lack of options.I felt all the wakes would work or could be adjusted to.I personally felt the Tige's were the best looking boat by far.I much preferred their interior material and layout to all the others.I liked the Malibu the second best.It was very comparable to the Tige.At that time Malibu didn't offer a pickle fork.In the end there were boats that cost less and boats that cost more.I made the decision that fit me the best.I received a lot of praise and criticism, but i knew in my heart i made the right decision for me.Why? Because i got what i wanted, with the options i wanted at a price i could afford. That is what i suggest to anyone who asks for advice.Get what you like best because your the one paying for it.Good Luck.I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.
