New trailer?

Are you telling me you can find a trailer in all of Tahoe? I'm just F'n with you dude. I just saw you are in Tahoe. Always good to see another High Sierra Tige Owner on the boards.

Did you check with Custom Boat & Marine down in Reno? He is a Tige dealer (sort of).

Where in Tahoe are you based out of?

I checked out Custom Boat & Marine, but they seem a bit spendy. I think I'm gonna have one built by california trailer works out of Sacramento, the guy that I talked to was super cool, and quoted me a really good price. I used to live in the Tahoe Keys in South Lake, but actually just moved down to Reno. I used to have a dock in the backyard, but will actually have to trailer it around this coming summer, which is why I'm working on a new trailer. Where do you live?

I'm in Sparks, Hyphen is out in Spanish Springs, topazsurfer in down in Gardnerville, Rushin is out in Fallon, MooseX is out of Tahoe City and a good friend of mine (not a forum member) rides out of Obexer's although, he's going to buy a second boat just for Tahoe and use his 22Ve for the surrounding lakes. We should get some sort of High Plains Tigeowners day together this summer. I mostly ride Lahontan and then switch to Frenchman's once Lahontan starts turning over. I do not boat on Pyramid.

Pictures below. I bought the boat/trailer in Dec 2010, and it came with rust on the spots with red circles. The guy kept his boat in storage on Lake Texoma (north Texas), and I guess when he put it up after going on the lake, the water would sit in these corners - that is where the rust is present. The leaf springs have surface rust, but I have never seen a trailer without rust on the leaf springs. LED lights work good. I put a new trailer jack on it this past summer, along with new wheels and tires. All of that cost over $1,000. Trailer works great, but much to my wife's dismay, I want a shiny new one.

I would like $2,000, but don't know if that is reasonable or not? What do yall think? Sorry it looks dirty in these photos, as I had pulled it out of storage and just put the new wheels/tires on - this was I believe in March of last year (before season started). I hauled the boat/trailer from Houston to Arkansas last summer with no issues.
