Picking the boat up today...in the rain! Sucks, but hopefully it is good luck. Of the 20+ vehicles I've bought, a good 80% of them were picked up on a rainy day.

Houstonshark, where so you plan on running her? I just bought a Tige(used) and live in Cypress. Thinking about Somerville as our "home" lake. Will also make trips to Trinity/Livingston.Originally posted by houstonshark View PostPicking the boat up today...in the rain! Sucks, but hopefully it is good luck. We have a place on the San Bernard river so we will be there most of the time but I expect will visit a few different spots throughout the season.Originally posted by Vxmime View PostHoustonshark, where so you plan on running her? The weather was pretty bad on the way home from Texas Tige but we got it in the garage safely and with a few inches to spare. The pics of it in the garage make it seem like there is plenty of room but we had about 4" on either side, 3" of height at the opening and 6" of depth.
It was not fun backing it in. I'm sure it will get easier.

X2 your vinyl looks very niceOriginally posted by NICKYPOO View PostI really like what you did with the interior. Best looking one I've seen in any new boat.
That is one odd garage you got.
And yeah your garage looks taller than it is wide
Get you some hangers and use that wall space

Exactly what I plan on doing but with a 4x4 just to be safe! I had to build a ramp in order for the boat to go all the way back since there is a raised concrete area at the front of the garage. You can see it here in this pic.Originally posted by Timmy! It will definitely get easier the more you do it! Boat looks great!

All of the plywood under the boat is for the windows in case of a hurricane. We had to put some small wood slats down in order to use the storage space under the trailer.

I know! If I remember the garage IS slightly taller than it is wide. We installed one of these 48" x 60" Kobalt garage storage racks which you can barely see in the pics. I put this one where I can access it from inside the boat and also at the top of the stairs going into the house. I'm thinking about installing at least 1 if not 2 additional racks above the garage door which I could also access from inside the boat.Originally posted by Iwndr View PostX2 your vinyl looks very nice

I have several of the Gladiator wall slats and different hangars I need to figure out where to put also. I just need more time! It's tough because we are close enough (about an hour) that we will likely only go down when the weather is nice, which means we will be out on the boat. I'll have to spend what little time and energy I have to better organize the garage after we are done riding for the day, or maybe before we go out for the day. I have lots of stereo upgrades to do as well!

Get you some hangers and use that wall spaceThank you. I love the vinyl. It kinda took me back a little at first because the Beluga Pearl Grey custom color really didn't look like the sample we picked out. They were serious about the 'Pearl' part of the name though because it looks really different, depending on the light and the angle you are looking at it. You can see the difference in the 3rd and 4th interior pics. All of the areas that are normally the Tige 'Chrome' vinyl are Pearl Grey and the accent materials are all Mercury.Originally posted by NICKYPOO View PostI really like what you did with the interior. I still really haven't seen it in the sun due to the weather but I may redo all of the bottom seat cushion's so that the grey sections are all Pearl Grey to give it a more consistent look whenever I reupholster the captain's chair with the Pearl Grey. The captain's chair arrives at Tige already upholstered with the Chrome vinyl. I probably won't do that until we are done for the season.
A slight difference to the interior that you don't really notice at first but I think really made it look nice is that ALL of the stitching in the boat is black. It looks really good! We changed the engine cover which normally has the white diamond pattern vinyl to Mercury with black diamond stitching. I didn't get a picture of it since I had the swim step laying on it but it looks really nice.
