    Carlsbad, CA

    Anyone in this area?

I wouldn't mind someone to view a tige for me in this area.

    Thoughts?

I'm still a few weeks away from being ready to have an "offer to purchase", but right now I'm just lining up my ducks. Best deals are deep down in the states and I'm in Alberta right now.

I would gladly pay a "lookers fee", and probably not ready to go see it until later this month or earlier next.

I'm about 20 minutes from Carlsbad. Let me know when things start to progress a little more. I can probably help you out.

Oh man, I am so lucky I found this forum.

I am really leaning towards a Tige, against my brother-in-laws recommendation (because his buddy has a 07 or 08 Tige with quality control issue's).

This boat is a 1999 Tige 2100V Limited, and from what I have researched it can put out a killer surfing wake.

08 was actually a great year. Somewhat biased though

In California terms, you're right down the street.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

              Hey Brian,

I just brought an 08' Tige RZ4 from TN last summer, so if you are interested in any information on the process I would be more then happy to share my experience. I am orginally from Calgary just moved to the Okanagan 5 years ago. Good Luck.

If you have the time, I would be interested in hearing about your boat buying process from the states....finding it, inspecting it before you buy, negotiations, payment, shipping, border crossing....etc.

And luckily enough, I opened up a bank account with Wells Fargo in December when I was there last month (december).

Good looking boat. Looks like someone replaced the interior and upgraded the dash and tower. All things you would have had to do. Now if it has been maintained, you will have a very versitile boat.

BTW, how much is this pig going to weigh (boat and trailer), the owner could not advise as he was unsure.

Probably in the neighborhood of 5000#. DQMOT though.

If its in good shape, its a smokin deal. It looks as though the dash has been recovered (I've never seen a white one.) That is an Aerial Airborne tower. One of the better looking universal towers around. I helped (did most of the work) a buddy put one on his Malibu last year. He loves it. I agree with laserfish, interior has been redone. I like the white with black piping. Looks nice.

How come there's no chicken sticks on the trailer?
