Can someone tell me what the vent tubes are for that come from in front of the windshield and go down threw the driver and passenger mid ship compartment and down into the floor? I'm curious how inportant they are and if I can run ballast hose and heater hose threw there holes in the floor.

I believe that the take fresh air to the engine compartment. This assists in the flow of the air out of the engine compartment through the vents in the back. -

x3. It's a good idea to replace those tubes every few years or so. If they have any holes or anything, just replace them. It's cheap, easy, safer, cleaner, better looking...
Also a good idea to check for debris in the intakes. Leaves, road debris, what not.You'll get your chance, smart guy.Comment
