TAPS question

Apologies if this has already been asked, please provide me with the Thread if possible.

I have a 2002 20i. When I move the TAPS up and down the left hydraulic cylinder only goes down about half way and stops. The right keeps going which causes it to bend the TAPS plate. The left is also leaking red oil from it...does this mean its shot? Can I purchase a replacement hydraulic? Thoughts? Hard to replace?

Under the observers seat or under the walk-thru hump maybe.

Bennet is sending me out the new Rams. I see the 3 screws on the hull and the 2 on the wake plate. Is this a job that I can do myself? How hard is the install?
